LM Wind Power:                                                                    Grand Forks, ND | 2010 – Present

  • Awarded  numerous honor of recognition for quality, safety, workmanship, and for my adherence to 5S standards as well as receiving two of my three annual evaluations where 6 of 6 categories were “Exceeds All Expectations”
  • Joe Schaff Award of Excellence recipient
  • Initiated the collection of data, analysis, organization, and implementation for a training curriculum and program to develop the Basic Automation & Robotics Operator Training Curriculum in 2011 and the Advanced Automation & Robotics Operator Training Curriculum in 2012. This instituted and published training curriculum is presently being used worldwide and has been instrumental in the Operator Certification program, leading to a safer work place and a strong automation team with an outstanding effectiveness rate.
  • Gained comprehensive experience as LM Wind Power’s first Cut and Trim’s Advanced Robotics & Automation Operator for their 6 robots that are servo driven each with six axis with external options

  • Administered project support for 2 statewide federally funded programs and a statewide network; directly assisting project coordinators, program directors, and 36 small rural hospitals across North Dakota.

  • Ensured the safety of all base weapons, property and personnel from hostile forces. Involved in team patrol movements, tactical drills, battle procedures, and military operations in both peacetime and wartime efforts. Performed force protection duties, including use of deadly force to protect personnel and resources.  Protected nuclear and conventional weapons systems and other resources while also performing air base defense functions contributing to the force protection mission. Operated in various field environments while performing individual, and team patrol movements, both mounted and dismounted, tactical drills, battle procedures, convoys, military operations other than war, antiterrorism duties, and other special duties while controlling and securing terrain inside and outside of military installations while defending personnel, equipment, and resources from hostile forces. Operated communications equipment, vehicles, intrusion detection equipment, crew-served weapons, and other special purpose equipment. Applied self-aid buddy care, lifesaving procedures, including cardiopulmonary resuscitation as first responder to accident and disaster scenes. Provided armed response and controls entry while detecting and reporting the presence of unauthorized personnel and activities. Implemented security reporting and alerting systems while enforcing standards of conduct, discipline, and adherence to laws and directives. Directed vehicle and pedestrian traffic, apprehended, and detained suspects as needed. Controlled and safeguarded arms, ammunition, and equipment and conducted ground weapons qualification training.
